Kentucky Deluxe ("K.D." by its slang name) is an brand of blended whiskey (being 20% straight whiskey and 80% neutral grain spirit). It is produced in Bardstown, Kentucky, by Heaven Hill Distilleries, Inc.
According to Kentucky Deluxe's label, Kentucky Deluxe is "a choice blended whiskey that possesses the character and taste a connoisseur desires and expects from a great whiskey." Although not usually a connoisseurs first idea as a drink of choice, its extremely low cost makes it the "well" whiskey or bourbon at many bars and restaurants.
